TERMS OF SERVICE

BY COMMISSIONING ME AS AN ARTIST, YOU AGREE THAT:I, as the artist...
- retain the right to post watermarked versions of my work as a portfolio and advertising.
- retain the right to choose who I work with.
- am not obligated to work for you beyond what time I am fairly paid for.
- am not obligated for work for less than the price I have established.You, as the client...
- retain full rights to post or use the watermarked or unwatermarked pieces for any non-commercial purposes once the image is completed.
- are entitled to the right to decline my initial sketches, or to receive a 50% refund from once I have begun work up until the piece is completed and sent in full.
- understand and will cooperate with my work process.
- understand and will pay my commission prices without backcharging via paypal or otherwise attempting to not pay me fairly.

PROCESS

!! This may be updated. !!1: To start, please fill out my commission form. Any requests not sent through the form will be directed to the form.2: I will then contact the client through email and decline or accept the commission request, with any draftwork (layout sketches, usually) I have for them to choose from, as well as payment information. I do not continue work without payment in full.3: Once I have received payment in full and any comments the client may have on draftwork, I will begin work in earnest. From now until completion you may request a 50% refund, no questions asked. Updates will be posted on Trello if the client consents.4: Once the commission is completed, I will create a google drive folder with all file versions. (Full size, downscaled, watermarked/unwatermarked, any transparent versions, etc) This folder will remain for a month (30 days), please download any files you want during this time. After a month has passed I may need to delete the file for space.

FAQ

Q: How do I check progress on my commission? Will I be able to? Will I be able to comment?A: Yes, through my Trello. While I'm reachable on Twitter, I do not respond professionally on Twitter. If you wish to see progress on your commission, it will be posted on Trello for you to freely view and comment on.

Q: Will you make a private Trello board for my commission? Can you send me WIPs intermittently through DMs instead?A: No, sorry. As stated previously, dealing with clients individually and splitting my work is what burns me out. Requests for private WIPs may or may not be obliged.

Q: Why do you operate this way?A: I live a very busy life, and while I enjoy doing commissions I have had bad experiences with clients before. I get overwhelmed sometimes when I have to remember to check and update people through multiple avenues at many different times, which makes me burn out on art. Neither of us want me to burn out on art. I understand this is not a traditional experience with an artist, which is why I have tried to use as many blanket-applicable professional tools as possible. I would use a middleman like Skeb if I could. Thank you for understanding.
